ABOUT US
As a nurse for more than 18 years, I felt it was time to do something more for my family and myself. After years of searching for the right business, I started looking into what I knew best. I had worked for registries several times in the past, but I had never thought about running one until a friend suggested it. Suddenly it seemed like my dreams had been realized. A chance to own my own business with flexible hours, low start up cost, and good income. I wanted to get started immediately, so I began researching.What I found was very little available information. Sure, I knew from my own experiences some of the basics, but not all of the steps that were necessary to start or run a business. I also did not know how to properly market my accounts, as this was something that I had never had to do as a nurse. All of this information came as a result of a great deal of effort on my part, with little help from anything available commercially. I felt that if I could make just some of this information available to others, I would be doing a great service to the industry. As a result, I have taken my experiences, organized them, and written them down into a simple, easy to follow format. This is not a template on how to open a registry, but the information that it contains will allow you to do just that.
